Mussel Surveying in the Tookany/Tacony-Frankford Creek

Join TTF to walk through the creek to look for increasingly rare freshwater mussels. Find where once-abundant mussel beds still exist and guide the restoration of these important animals that clean our water! Food, training, and waders will be provided! Volunteer with TTF to identify locations for Philadelphia Parks & Recreation to plant street trees in West Oak Lane. These trees will intercept and filter Philadelphia's rainfall.
